Volunteers
VOLUNTEERS Level 3 volunteers are non-district personnel who will have direct, unsupervised interaction with students. An example of this type of volunteer would be chaperones on overnight field trips and mentors who have unsupervised interaction with students.
The Randolph County School System requires background checks for all level 3 volunteers through our secure online background link. Once you complete the online background link you will also need to complete and turn in a paper volunteer application. This paper application can be obtained from the Volunteer Coordinator at your school. Before your online background can be processed the school MUST receive the paper application.
NOTICE: Any person who is required to register as a sex offender cannot serve as a volunteer. Anyone who has charges pending or pled guilty to a felony may not be eligible to serve as a level 3 volunteer.
